In a world where everyone’s opinion is the most important, there is no doubt that criticism will ensue. And how are we to prioritize and receive and weigh criticism we receive? Surely we cannot write off criticism. We must listen and gauge. Listen and engage. If God is sovereign over footsteps and hearts and lips, then surely he has sovereignly allowed criticism from a friend as well as an enemy to come to you. What will you do with it?
