Week Three!!

Two take-aways:

1. Self-control. Fasting is more about self-control more than it is about not eating food. Food was meant to serve us. Too often we get that backwards. Remember that what you are learning is that you do not need food as much as you think you need.

2. Feed your mind, not your belly. When you find yourself thinking about food, busy yourself with a project. Find something that will demand your focus–to keep you from fuzzy thinking.

    I saw a piece you wrote about suicide that Kirk Cameron posted on Facebook, and wanted to say it was written very well. My website is down at the moment, but should be back up on May 2nd. I added you to my favorites because I liked your writing. I and 3 writers write devotionals based on the Lord’s leading. I wanted to ask permission, as I continue reading your articles, if it is ok to share? I, of course would give you the credit. I didn’t want to use your stuff without asking.

    I have a FB page with online devotional ministry, and a closed group on FB, but people can still request to join. Is there a way you can share that on your site? I’m really trying to get the Word out. God is doing amazing things.
